About
Growing up, I have always had a strong affection for the environment. I love traveling to different parks and forests, exploring new landscapes, and discovering how the environment influences everything around me. However, throughout the decade, we have seen how detrimental the effects of climate change can be on both the environment and our community. This has instilled in me the desire to learn about our natural resources and become an advocate for reversing the effects of climate change.
I was first introduced to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. It was during this time that I learned how impactful GIS can be and how impactful it can be in solving real-world problems. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography, a minor in Mathematics, and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Since graduating I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of GIS projects and have been providing geospatial solutions to the community and stakeholders for 5 years.
Even though I have a variety of geospatial experience, I wanted to learn more about how this technology can positively impact our planet. In 2021, I entered the Environmental Observation and Informatics Professional Master's Program through the University of Wisconsin - Madison. This program focuses on integrating the disciplines of conservation biology, remote sensing and technology, data analysis, mathematics, programming, and innovative leadership to pioneer the next generation of conservation professionals.

During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, hiking, going to concerts and concerts, completing jigsaw puzzles, and playing video games.
